Blog 4: Performance Task

Dear Judy,

My feelings for you has never been diminished. Never doubt my Love for you, for it is everlasting. Whenever I see you I see my future, I see a new dimension in life, for my love for you is too great. My feelings are strong that I feel like I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But you are too busy with many other men, trying to tempt them. Why? When I am right here waiting in silence, with my heart breaking every second for you? Seeing with another man makes me jealous, but I cannot do anything because it is your happiness. I have chosen to marry Irene, for she is who I think I love in the moment. She is pretty but not as pretty as you. She is nothing like you, but I have no choice. You are tempting, perfect, and the definition of seductress to me. I will be waiting for your answer to my question "Will you marry me?". You, my dear Judy, represents every aspect of my life.

Love,
Dexter

Dear Dexter,

I am a young woman still trying to find out the meaning of love and exploring the pleasures that comes with it. My time with you was very pleasurable and great, but I cannot stick to one man too long, because it bores me. I have great looks and flirting skills that I have to use to lure guys into, and I will therefore not put it into waste. I am determined to make everyman fall for me. Your love for me might be true and just, but my feelings for you are as strong. I am scared of commitment and will act upon it when I feel like I am ready to show up to your wedding and take you away from your wife. You are the most handsome and charming man, I have ever met. I understand that I represent your way of living, I am grateful and thankful. But I have fallen in love with another man and is tied to him for the rest of my life.

Yours,
Judy

The relationship like this would succeed if the two main character acts upon their feelings for each other instead of keeping silent. Both Judy and Dexter have that pull and desire that burns within them. Their relationship is toxic from the start, but if they confessed their feelings and not coward away, by now they would be living happily ever after. But if we take the letters as an example, the relationship is destined to fail and be broken. Judy being a promiscuous young woman, and Dexter being the shy but smart man. Throughout the story both of them are unsure of their feelings towards each other, but comes to a conclusion at the end of the story they were in love from the start.
